  • Use methods of calculating / determining chain stretch
  • Select correct replacement chains
  • Describe and perform procedures for chain installation and replacement
  • Achieve correct chain tension
  • Correct mis-alignment of chain drives
  • Describe purpose and function of chain tensioners, and perform basic installation / adjusting procedures with fitted tensioners
  • Describe importance of lubrication / perform three methods of chain lubrication
