An abrasive wheel safety training video presented on DVD designed to provide support to grinding wheel training courses.

Aimed at those people with a responsibility for Handling, Storing, Mounting, Maintaining or Using Abrasive Wheels (grinding wheels), this programme spells out the safety hazards presented by a revolving wheel and demonstrates the power of an exploding wheel.

It goes on to give sound advice on the care and use of  grinding wheels, highlighting the best workshop practice to avoid wheel burst and how to minimise the risks of other injuries presented with their use.

Particular emphasis is placed upon Type 1 straight sided wheels which are mainly found on bench or pedestal grinders.
