Many companies are experiencing difficulty in interpreting the regulations which apply to abrasive wheels and determining what training is necessary.
Our specialist Abrasive Wheel Train the Trainer course is now offered as an on-site course for your trainers up to a maximum of six delegates.
We will explain to them the legal aspects of this type of work equipment and the course content that they will need to provide.
We will provide a basic course structure for them to work to and give guidance on the presentation. Copious handout materials are provided along with our own DVD's "Avoiding Wheel Burst" and "Portable angle grinder safety"
The course lasts up to 1 day depending on the scope of work equipment to be addressed and is carried out on the client's own premises in order to make specific reference to the types of machines and wheels used on site.
We cover all types of grinding equipment as required, including Angle grinders, cutting discs, pedastle and bench grinders, and precision machinery. Each course is tailored to your own requirements.
This course is ideal for existing trainers with experience of abrasive wheels but need to know what to include in their abrasive wheel courses and how to deal with the practical issues of presentation.
All delegates will receive a certificate of attendance upon successful completion of the course.
Please note that delegates must be experienced and competent in the use of the equipment as this is not an instructional course on how to use the machinery.
